INSAF規約

In April, 2000, the INSAF members have met and discussed the Content of Safety in Nuclear Fuel Cycle Industries.

The members recognized that the importance of nuclear safety was common to the entire global nuclear fuel cycle industry, and agreed to set up the International Network for Safety Assurance of Fuel cycle industries, INSAF, to provide a means of sharing and promoting best practice and an universal safety culture.

　INSAF has two working groups, which are Uranium working group and MOX working group.

The objectives of the MOX working group are as follows:

üTo share safety related information through an information exchange meeting

To inform the public of relevant aspects

To promote the understanding and acceptance of MOX fabrication by the public through the website

MOX Working Group members are expected to have safety information exchange meeting including plant tour once a year in principle in order to improve their level of safety knowledge.
